Summer is Here!

With the end of the school year fast approaching as does the Homework/Teen Haven Programs here at the Dunfield Park Community Center.  On June 24th all Homework Haven participants, staff members and volunteers will be “Rockin’ the Park” in our year end bash.  This year children will be dressed and participating in activities based on a rock star theme.  We would like to thank all volunteers and outside sources who have helped contribute to our program.  It has been a great year with great success!!

The Teen Haven youth have yet to finish the completion of their exams.  We wish you the best of luck!  Teen Haven will end on June 23rd with a small end of the year celebration.  The number of Teen Haven participants has diminished toward the school end, however hopefully numbers will increase again in September.

We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable summer and we will see you all again in September!

If you wish to enrol your child in these programs or would like to take some time to volunteer please contact the Dunfield Park Community Center at 634 4691.
